The health of a parish is in the ability to gather in community to nurture a lived faith for every person.
The mission of our Religious Education program is rooted in the idea that every moment of every life is an opportunity to grow in a personal relationship with God. Our response to God’s invitation is reflected in our relationships with others and in the way we serve and respect the dignity and beauty of all creation. Religious Education at St. James is dedicated to assisting our parishioners throughout their entire faith journey by offering programs, education, and enrichment for all ages.
We offer formal classes for grades 1 – 8. This program is a continuous process that includes sacramental preparation and children are expected to attend all grades levels in order to be prepared to receive sacraments. Kindergarten is optional and offered on Sunday mornings.

RCIA is a process for those who are interested in the Catholic faith. A team of parishioners works together with the inquirer to discern and welcome God’s invitation to embrace life in the Catholic Christian community.
