About Our School
St. James Nursery School strives to provide a quality preschool education for the children of our church and of our community. Children learn of God and of His love. We want your children to know that school is a good, safe place to be. When they enter our classrooms, they will find new activities and projects waiting for them and their teachers ready to help and take care of their needs.
"Play with a Purpose" best describes our program. We want St. James to be a fun environment as well as educationally stimulating. Our staff carefully plans lessons to provide students with opportunities to grow socially, to build confidence and self esteem, to learn to cooperate and communicate their feelings, to improve language and math skills, to express themselves through artistic means, and to achieve physical competence. We want to help develop the whole child in an atmosphere of encouragement and acceptance.
